Blessed Be All:

New Moon New York is honored to invite you to participate in the Eighth Annual Pagan Spirituality Expo (PSE 2005). The event will take place on Sunday, November 27th. This totally free event is intended to provide newcomers & veterans of the NY Pagan Community (anyone who is on a life-affirming, goddess-centered, earth-honoring, pagan path) an opportunity to learn about and network with our wonderfully diverse community.

The Expos first goal is to give individuals, who are looking for a group to work with, an opportunity to meet various group representatives (as well as other seekers), learn about different styles and traditions, get to know leaders from local groups, and options available in the New York Metropolitan Area, thus helping everyone to make intelligent and informed choices when seeking instruction, or group interaction. Our goal is to eliminate the misconception, that a seeker must choose one particular group because it is the only game in town. The truth is that New York City has one of the largest and most diverse Pagan communities in the world. This Expo is an opportunity for those with open-groups to be able evaluate the compatibility of potential candidates, and make connections with people (individuals or representatives of other groups) who might refer seekers to you in the future. This is an chance to enlarge your own group or help create new ones.

Our secondary goal in sponsoring PSE is to give local groups & solitary practitioner an opportunity to network, so that New York City, and the surrounding areas, will have a Pagan community that is able to be mobilized, and perhaps even united, should the need ever arise. We hope that groups (and their leaders) as well as solitary individuals can exchange pertinent news and information. With this in mind, we will have an area designated specifically for attendees to "shoomze", gather, and interact. This interaction will help all of us discover, or rediscover, what we all have so much in common, as well as just how large, and diverse our community is.

Below you will find a registration form, use this form if you would like a table for your group. You do not need to return this form to attend the Expo! However, if you wish to have a table at the event we ask that representatives of your group return the form so that we may better estimate space requirements and ensure that participants have enough table space and chairs needed. Feel free to copy this information (and blank forms) to distribute to other area pagan or earth-honoring groups that are known to you. Please keep all info as is, do not edit, add or remove any information.

In the past years many of groups have used their table space to distribute written material about their open group events, candidate requirements, display various altar set-up's, god/goddess representations, symbolic totems, quilts, craft handiwork, pictures, colorfully decorated displays expressing group & individual beliefs, practices, etc… Go to town, we say.

The Pagan Spirituality Expo Guide

As we have done in prior years New Moon New York is compiling a PSE Guide of the Regional Pagan Group/s which will be given out FREE to all who attend the event. Inclusion in the Guide is completely voluntary, and we'll publish only the information that has been provided and given permission to publish. The PSE Guide to serve two purposes: first, it's a quick reference, helping to orient the attendees as to the basic nature of each group present; second, as a resource for attendees after leaving the Expo, so that they will be able to contact groups they might be interested in on a subsequent date. If you would like your group to be included in the PSE Guide, we must receive your form, by e-mail: expo@newmoonny.org, no later than November 15, 2005. We cannot guarantee that forms received after November 15th will be included in the Gude.

Thank you for your time, and we hope to see you at the Expo.
